Welcome Fathers

Fathers are important in their children’s lives and bring value to the parenting partnership just as much as mothers do. But in my experience, the value fathers bring to the family is often overlooked or dismissed, even by fathers themselves, as our society slowly moves beyond thinking of mothers as the presumptive “go to” parent. Today’s kids are exposed at earlier ages to the realities of a world filled with temptations, dangers and incredible opportunities.

As our children grow and develop, the likelihood of them thriving as adults increases when they are grounded in nurturing relationships with both parents. Moms and dads bring their natural instincts to the job of parenting. A father’s contribution is not wrong, it’s just different.
